Before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, a procession of cars trailed from the Issaquah Burgermaster parking lot and wound down Gilman Boulevard. Customers weren’t lining up for the food truck that had held the spot since 2024, but to be one of the first served at the new drive-in. 

Alex Jensen, Burgermaster’s owner and third-generation CEO, waited at the front of the line during the grand opening to shake each customer’s hand and pass out free milkshake coupons while assigning them a stall.
