ABOUT US

An independent, community-funded local newsroom.

The Issaquah Spotlight is an independent, community-funded digital newspaper. We are focused on transparent, credible reporting about the people, places and issues that shape our community.

The Issaquah Spotlight is a community-led effort to establish a weekly digital newspaper. Every Friday, subscribers will receive 3-4 stories in their email inbox highlighting what matters most to our community.

We value credibility, transparency, independence and service, with a focus on stories that reflect Issaquah’s many voices, issues and perspectives. Coverage features local government, our schools, public safety, transportation, businesses and more. Subscribe for free and be sure to spread the word with your neighbors and friends.
