On June 1, Issaquah City Council voted to remove Flock cameras from the Issaquah Police Department (IPD) Congressional Community Appropriations Grant. But the debate over surveillance in the city is far from over.
“We are moving forward with working on a policy that would govern any sort of similar technology in the future. But there is no plan near term to purchase cameras of this type,” said Dale Markey-Crimp, assistant to the city administrator.
