For years, Tiger Mountain has become a destination for paragliders seeking some of the best flying conditions in the region. This August, that spirit of flight will come down to the streets as the inaugural Aire Craft Festival brings free flight, circus arts and community performances to the Issaquah Community Center and Rainier Trail from Aug. 13-16.

The festival will feature free flight-themed activities, street arts, circus performances and community experiences designed to bring the spirit of Tiger Mountain’s paragliding scene into public spaces. Festival director Mick Holsbeke said Aire Craft is the first festival of its kind in the United States.
